Pre Season Update

Uncategorised

I am quickly learning that there is never a dull moment with Expedition Engineering and Matthew Edwards! We have spent the spring season revamping our website, putting together new and exciting trips, and of course taking time to enjoy the beautiful west coast of British Columbia, Canada, where we have set up our new base of operations. We are located in the centre of adventure paradise! With world-class sea kayaking and great surf minutes from our front door. We often find our selves in the dilemma of spending time brainstorming new adventures or just going out and adventuring in our neck of the woods! We seem to be balancing the two quite nicely.

Our new and improved website will be up and running by the end of June, check out the new trips, videos, and pictures! www.expeditionengineering.com. We are really excited about what is going on in the next year with trips to Raja Ampat, Iceland, Greenland, and the Antarctic to name a few!

We have been gearing up for another busy summer season at Expedition Engineering. Matt has recently flown half way around the world to guide ship based sea kayak trips in Scotland, Svalbard, Iceland, and Greenland. He will be kayaking amongst walrus, reindeer and Polar Bears! Exploring the rugged coast of Scotland, paddling amongst the birth-place of icebergs in Greenland, and hopefully getting a glimpse of the elusive narwhale!

I am in the midst of prepping for a camping based sea kayak expedition in Prince William Sound, Alaska. When not on trip, my favourite thing to do is pour over charts. This is an overview of our Prince William Sound Expedition. I am excited to paddle up to tidewater glaciers, through icebergs, observe black bear, and share waterways with the whales.

We are very excited for this up and coming season and hope you join us on one of our trips! See you on the water or the snow!
